Footage shows off frenetic multiplayer vehicular combat...
Sony has released a new Twisted Metal trailer revealing some of the game’s weapons and vehicles. The game is being developed by David Jaffe’s Eat Sleep Play studio; Jaffe created the original PS1 game, and is also responsible for the first two God of War games.
Twisted Metal features 4 player split-screen, and 16 player online vehicle-based combat. The trailer (below, via Gametrailers) reveals an October 4th release date, although it’s not yet clear if this only applies to North American territories.
