Touchstone confirms that the dinosaur hunter will be heading to PC too...
Already heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February 2008, Touchstone has today confirmed that Turok will also be making its way onto PC in the New Year, courtesy of Aspyr.
The franchise, last seen in 2002 as 'Turok: Revolution' by the now defunct Acclaim Entertainment, is currently undergoing its resurrection at Vancouver-based Propaganda Games and built with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3. Following Joseph Turok as he tracks down his former mentor turned war criminal Roland Kane on a dinosaur inhabited planet, the PC edition promises to deliver an engaging Campaign along with multiplayer modes for up to sixteen players.
"First person shooters have a rich history on the Windows PC platform and are known for having enthusiastic, dedicated fans," said Josh Holmes, vice president and general manager, Propaganda Games. "Turok will be an unforgettable experience ideal for the Windows PC platform when it becomes available in 2008."

I thought this was one of the worst games I ahve ever had the misfortune of playing. True the graphics are good and nice, but beyond that the game is really iritating. I found myself shooting my guns in random directions in the slim hope and possibility of hitting what ever dinosaur weas near by. The graphics are lush, but there is no feature to be able to change the brightness of the game whatsoever, leaving half of the levels unplayable on an lcd tv. :( its a shame really as I was a huge fan of the TOO-ROCK games on N64.
