The Disney publisher confirms some of the Hollywood voice actors signed up for The Dinosaur Hunter's return...

Heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February 2008, Turok's voice talent has today been revealed by publisher Touchstone. Featuring the likes of Timothy Olyphant (Agent 47 in the upcoming Hitman movie), Donnie Wahlberg, and Ron "I'll do voice acting for any game no questions asked!" Perlman, the game aims to re-establish the Turok brand after the fall of Acclaim in 2004.

"The actors who lent their voices to Turok are a testament to both the magnitude of the project and the interest of top-notch talent," said Josh Holmes, vice president and general manager of Propaganda Games, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based developer. "The characters in the story are paramount to the experience and we have assembled an outstanding cast to assure high quality performances across the board."

TVG managed to get a glimpse of the Xbox 360 version of Turok back in August at the Leipzig Game Convention; you can take a look at our thoughts here.

I thought this was one of the worst games I ahve ever had the misfortune of playing. True the graphics are good and nice, but beyond that the game is really iritating. I found myself shooting my guns in random directions in the slim hope and possibility of hitting what ever dinosaur weas near by. The graphics are lush, but there is no feature to be able to change the brightness of the game whatsoever, leaving half of the levels unplayable on an lcd tv. :( its a shame really as I was a huge fan of the TOO-ROCK games on N64.
