2K Sports confirms a third outing for the tennis franchise for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3...
Just days after the climax of Wimbledon, 2K Sports has today confirmed the development of Top Spin 3 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3, with a release pencilled in for Spring 2008. The third outing for the franchise, and once again being produced at the Parisian PAM Development studio, Top Spin 3 is set to continue with the highly detailed character creation tools - with tattoos and make up(!) options available this time around.
Announcing the game, Christoph Hartmann, President of 2K said: "This game transcends the boundaries of what has previously been achieved in the acclaimed Top Spin franchise by ensuring every detail is accurate, from the cloud cover to lighting, from sweat to dirt on clothing, to every drop shot, slice, lob and backhand."
Both online and offline gameplay will of course feature in the game, together with the usual band of top ranked tennis players (will it be Tim Henman or Andy Murray this time around).

Guys i have ps3 and i m telling you that Sony sucks!! all ps3 fans have waiting one game to come out and is being cancelled... but NOT on xbox 360! never happened!!!! what Sony trying to achieve with that? to show us that microsoft and xbox 360 are better? i think yes!!!! thousands people had been waiting top spin 3 at 20 of June where is the game?????? Bravoo Sony!!!!!!!!!!!

No Nadal for Xbox 360 has to be the stupidest thing I have heard about this game. I hope they don't ruin the game further by giving ps3 Borg or Seles or Becker exclusively.

i've played top spin 2 on xbox 360 and it played excelent! might have to see the gameplay first just to be shore of it, if gud, then i'm buyin! :)
