Activision confirms that both Tony and Spidey to help launch the PSP on release…
Activision has announced that they will provide software for Sonyâ??s forthcoming portable console, the PSP. Confirming the support, the company has advised that two titles currently in development for the platform are versions of popular franchises, Spiderman2 and Tony Hawkâ??s Underground2, with both expected to form part of the PSPâ??s launch line-up.
At the announcement, Kathy Vrabeck, President of Activision Publishing, said that, "SCEA's PlayStation Portable Entertainment Platform is an exciting new platform that combines processing power with a sleek new look that will appeal to an older demographicâ?¦By matching our top brands like Tony Hawk's Underground 2 and Spider-Man 2 with the new entertainment device, we are able to broaden our consumer base and leverage our franchises into new areas."
