Motion-based peripheral heralds a change of pace for the Tony Hawk's series...
Activision love their peripherals; what money-obsessed executive wouldn't crave the opportunity to charge gamers even more? So it seems, we'll be kickflipping without buttons later in the year in Tony Hawk's Ride.

We've known that the Tony Hawk's franchise is heading in a new direction under the control of RoboModo, following TreyArch's defection to all things Call of Duty. Still, the skateboard peripheral could be what the series needs. Attempting to recreate the thrill of earlier Tony Hawk's has never really succeeded post Tony Hawk 4, and with EA's Skate series gaining momentum, Activision needs to do something to reinvigorate the phenomenally successful series.
TVG recently took an early look at Tony Hawk's Ride and will be bringing you our first impressions once the embargo lifts.

ha ha TH better than skate. ask any skater what they think. if you don't like skate then you are just not co-ordinated enough and need someone to show you. once you get it there is no way ever anyone can say it isn't as good as TH. the freedom it allows is awesome
