Lara Raiding The Underworld In November News

Eidos confirms a late Autumn release for Tomb Raider: Underworld...

Despite continued speculation over its future, SCi Entertainment/Eidos has today announced that Tomb Raider: Underworld is on track to launch in November.

The upcoming Lara Croft adventure, which sees the aristocratic adventurer scale the depths of the Norse underworld, had originally been slated for release this summer but was pushed into a broad 'pre-Christmas' period back in January. News of the November release comes as Eidos launches a new Tomb Raider portal.

TVG got a quick look at the adventure, the first built specifically for the current round of consoles, earlier in the year.

Tomb Raider: Underworld is scheduled to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and PC.

I bought this, Left 4 Dead and Dead Space this Friday but have only played the latter 2 for about an hour combined. All my time is being spent with the lovely Lara Croft. It's how exploration really should feel.

After the Angel of Darkness fiasco they released one forgetable game as a new studio for Capcom that sunk without a trace. They ten got into DVD games, but that didn't last long. The only thing left of them was acquired by fellow UK studio Rebellion quite a long time ago. Toby Gard is the only link between old Lara and new Lara.

I mean Ratchet and Clank have got 2 different developers making games: Insomniac Games(PS2 and PS3) and High Impact Games(PSP)!
