Ubisoft Announce Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter Delay News

The finalised launch line-up for the Xbox 360 is beginning to take shape by deductive means, as Ubisoft today confirmed a February 2006 release for Tom Clancyâ??s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

Previously there had been some hope that the impressive title in the award-winning military shooter series would make the launch; however that has today been blown out of the water with Ubisoft confirming the 2006 worldwide release.

Itâ??s claimed that additional time will allow the multi-development studio to create the best episode ever of the Ghost Recon series, allowing the teams the opportunity to continue optimising the application of Xbox 360 technology.

The delay of the game will have no impact on Ubisoftâ??s revenue forecasts for the fiscal year but will likely cause a few concerns at Microsoft Games Studios.
