Timesplitters 4

The future of Free Radical Design, its IP, and other assets, will be revealed this Wednesday, according to the studio's administrators, ReSolve Partners.

The studio, which shut its doors before Christmas, has apparently attracted the interest of several parties, though it's so far unclear whether ReSolve has managed to secure the sale of the studio as a whole or whether Free Radical is to be broken up.

News of the forthcoming announcement was revealed by GamesIndustry.biz, which speculated that Free Radical's future may lie with the likes of Codemasters, or with an outfit outside of the games industry.

The Crytek/FRD acquisition surely has to be a good move, with Crytek finally entering the console space.

well thanks to the contract they signed with sony to make it a ps3 exclusive has cost em big time, maybe a few more developers should take notice the xbox has more users than the ps3 and the 360 is/has more shooters on it than any other console out at the minuit so time splitters could have come out on 360 with guranteed sales topping the same as cod/gears of war ect.
