Product pages emerge online suggesting that the 2006 arcade shooter could be heading to Sony's next-gen system...
Three years after the release of Time Crisis: Crisis Zone on PlayStation 2, US-based retailer Gamestop and sister-outlet EB Games have suggested that Time Crisis 4 may be heading to North American PlayStation 3s by the end of 2007.
There is no confirmation from publisher Namco Bandai Games that the 2006 title will be jumping over from arcade cabinets onto the PS3 so far, but given the fact that previous instalments have made appearances on past PlayStations, it's not too hard to imagine that Gamestop's product pages are accurate.
The product pages on the websites also note that a release would include a 'Guncon' peripheral.

Let me start by saying, i have played every Time-Crisis game and enjoyed them.
I bought Time-Crisis4 today and after playing for several hours on a 64'' Plasma T.V. the guns work flawlsly. the review that i see above here that the guns for this are "Tacky" i would not agree with. the guns are bright orange and made of a simple plastic, yes, yet they work very well and they are light-weight (After holding them up for 5 hours straight i am very greatfull that there light)
The grafix in the game are alot better than any other Time-Crisis, the levels are well developed and do flow well. i would say the only bad thing about this game is the story is kinda corney, yet shooting through it is very fun.
As for this review stating that it is a "30 minute then you done" game that is very wrong. the game takes several hours to beat off the bat then you can unlock much harder "games" to do and after you beat the game the first time there is now a diffrent story to it and you can go through again in a whole new light, with many other diffrent levels of playing style.
Once you buy this game you wil not be able to put it down for a day. the fact of it is that this game is well put togeather and there is so few Console games out there that you do not have to be agrivated by attempting to scroll over to a target with your analog stick, now you can point and shoot!
There is so many things that this game has for shooter fans around the globe, that it is impossable to give this game a lower score than a 7/10. Yes, there is no way you can give it a 10/10 because there is some things that are not as cool as they could be... yet look at all the things it gives you to.
QOTE : "The gameplay in Time Crisis 4 is befitting of a PS1 game, while the graphics are more at home on a PS2. The series is very, very tired and should really have been put to bed by now, with this latest iteration boasting lacklustre content and all the appeal of drinking sulphuric acid."
This game is exactly what the fans of Time Crisis wanted and more. Please do not read this guys review and think anything more than it was writen by a complete tool.

might sound daft but it is a 1 to 2 player game, do you get 2 guns?

got the us version 2007 and still playing it. graphics might not be 10/10 but a score of 7 is reasonable, addictive with gun no configure problems, these reviewers need a reality check

Talk about a non-complete review. Guncon works flawlessly on ANY TV. I find it rather enjoyable, but expensive if you want a friend to play with you.
