We have learnt that Eidos will be releasing Thief Deadly Shadows on DVD Only!
The switch to DVD for PC gaming is still an uncertain move within the gaming industry. With a failed attempt a few years ago, has the hardware market expanded enough to allow developers to release their games on DVD?
We have learnt that Eidos will be releasing their latest game in the Thief series later this year on DVD format only.
In order for the game to install and run, users will need a DVD Drive, which is highly likely considering all new machines contain either a DVD Drive or a DVD RW Drive.
Ubi Soft announced recently that Far Cry will ship using DVD's, so hopefully the time has come for the switch.
Who knows we may even see more features and bonuses resembling the DVD Film industry!
