Braid developer releases the first info on his next title, an exploration-puzzle game called The Witness...

Jonathan Blow, the creator of XBLA phenomenon (and possible soon-to-be PSN release) Braid, has revealed the first details on his next project, The Witness.

Described as an exploration-puzzle game set on an uninhabited island, The Witness will be released on multiple platforms according to a new teaser site. No specific platforms have been mentioned though, as this will be down to "whatever makes sense in late 2011, when the game will hopefully be finished," according to Blow.

A short post by Blow on the Braid blog describes The Witness as "very visual", although no screens have been unveiled at this time. "Once we have developed those visuals to the point where they are representative, I'll start posting them," said Blow.

UPDATE: A PS3 version of Braid for PSN has now been confirmed - link through here for more details.
