RockStar keeps alive the beat-em-up genre with an adaptation of Paramount’s cult-hit...
The first information from RockStarâ??s forthcoming adaptation of Paramountâ??s 1979 cult-hit The Warriors is slowly beginning to filter through, and for those that may have missed out on it looks to be right up RockStarâ??s street.
Heavily based on gang culture, the film depicts a truce between the gangs of New York up until the ringleader is assassinated and the blame lay on The Warriors shoulders; with every gang up for revenge, the Warriors must fight for survival in order to prove their innocence.
As the first trailer released today shows, RockStar Vancouver appear to have captured the film flawlessly, while maintaining the traditional RockStar style; weâ??ll have lots more on The Warriors soon, but until then check out the first trailer of the game in action...
