EA posts a revised release date for The Sims 3, pushing the title back four months into June 2009...
Gamers eagerly awaiting the next full Sims game will have to wait a little longer, with EA announcing that the next instalment in the most successful computer game series of all time won't be coming until June 2nd.
The game had previously been listed for a worldwide release on February 20th, although this date was thrown into doubt recently when EA stated that it was "evaluating the launch window".
EA has now formally announced a delay of nearly four months for the title, which pushes it into EA's fiscal 2010 by attaching a June 2nd worldwide launch date to the game.
"The Sims 3 is an incredible game that lets you play with life, create art and show off your creations," said Ben Bell, Executive Producer, The Sims 3. "In the game, players are inspired by endless creative possibilities like the new Traits and Lifetime Wish features which allow players to create Sims with real personalities and destinies. Players can then take their Sim into town to interact with other Sims in the game and capture the action on video to show off online."

The 'You May Like This' box above is referring to a different game (Tom Clancy's HAWX), it's just that no box art has been posted for the HAWX directory.
The 'You May Like This' boxes are automatically generated by the site and are supposed to provide other options of games for readers to look at. The Sims 3 directory can be found above on the right hand side, where it clearly states that Sims 3 is only available on PC.
