EA signs a deal with an in-flight entertainment firm to supply The Sims 2 and Pogo titles to global airlines...
Electronic Arts has today confirmed a deal with DTI Software to provide The Sims 2 and a selection of its mobile Pogo titles to a number of airlines around the world.
DTI Software has already signed the likes of Atari to its in-flight entertainment service, which has been selected by 62 airlines around the world.
Louis Bélanger-Martin, DTI Software Executive Vice-President commented, "The Sims and Pogo.com are two of the most recognized brands in the game world. We are very enthusiastic about bringing the EA brand to in-flight passengers."
Jon Niermann, President, EA Asia Publishing commented, "We are delighted to partner with DTI Software and bring some of our most popular games to in-flight entertainment. Now, travellers can enjoy the world of EA when they are in their living room or above the clouds."
So The Sims 2 at 35,000 feet eh? The success of the franchise seems to have reached new heights...
