Frailties in the position of the Xbox in Japan as Microsoft unveil drastic measures…
Itâ??s been well documented that Microsoft has struggled to break Japan with the Xbox, and todayâ??s announcement that they are to launch another Xbox Platinum Pack in the territory really shows that they are now desperate.
Launching at the extraordinary price of ¥19â??000 (⑬140, £95), the Xbox Platinum Pack 3 will include:
- Xbox Console
- Xbox DVD Playback Kit
- Xbox Live Subscription
- Blinx 2
- Top Spin
- Halo
- Project Gotham Racing 2
Whether this is a last ditch effort to try and win over some support in Japan or not remains questionable, however, the amount of goodies that the pack contains is extraordinary.
