The Ryzom Ring Puts Power In Gamers Hands News

Nevrax today announced the development of a new expansion to its popular MMORPG, The Saga of Ryzom. Entitled The Ryzom Ring, the package consists of a set of editing tools with the aim of putting the power in the hands of the players.

Players can create maps, adjust terrain, place monsters and include NPCs via an intuitive point-and-click interface, which can then integrated directly into Ryzomâ??s world of Atys to allow thousands of other players to enjoy, or kept secretive and only accessible to those the player chooses.

Itâ??s certainly a unique concept that should help to expand the world of The Saga of Ryzom without placing too many demands on the developer, as David Cohen Corval, CEO of Nevrax and creator of The Saga of Ryzom outlined, â??Our hope for The Ryzom Ring is that it will bring back the power to the players,â? said David. â??The Ryzom Ring will empower individuals to create their own adventures and lands and to share them.
