THQ has today announced that a downloadable multiplayer demo of the forthcoming World War II action title The Outfit for Xbox 360 will be available from March 3rd. The game, which follows a small band of US soldiers as they make their way through enemy territory and into the heart of the Nazi war machine, has been developed by Relic Entertainment and will be released on March 17th.

The demo level, called Estate Assulat includes the Destruction on Demand feature, takes place as Allied and Axis forces aim to destroy each other's HQ, which are separated by a river. The statement confirmed that up to eight players would be able to fight it out as either Allied or Axis soldiers, or one vs. one split screen in the map, as they take part in the Multiplayer mode 'Strategic Victory'. Capturing strategic points will reward players with Field Units that help facilitate the Destruction on Demand vehicles, guns, and air strikes.

THQ has confirmed that the download will be 500MB in size.
