Activision and Lionhead reveal the three winning designs set to feature in the forthcoming multi-format title...

Following a worldwide search, Lionhead and Activision today announced the winners of its â??Design A Logoâ? competition for the forthcoming multi-format title The Movies.

Jonathan Jensen (Canada), David Watts (UK) and David Boyle (United States) have been named as grand prize winners for their logo designs, which will be featured in the forthcoming Lionhead title and appearing on everything from entry gates and crew clothing to the opening film credits and more. To check out the winning designs, please visit the official website.

Intriguingly the Press Release describes the title as a â??PC life simulation gameâ?, putting doubt on the future of the console versions; however we have been assured that this was just an error and that The Movies will be released on Playstation2, Xbox and GameCube along with the PC version.

Sadly no reference to a release date has been made, so weâ??re still left guessing as to exactly when we can start shooting our own movies and dealing with pernickety actors; weâ??ll have more on The Movies soon.
