The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II

TVG is currently taking bets as to how long EA can continue to squeeze life out of the ultra popular and powerful Lord of the Rings franchise, as today the publishing giant confirmed that development has concluded on the latest title, The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2.

RTS and Tolkien fans alike are likely to snap the title up, which is also set to make a slightly questionable appearance on the Xbox 360 later in the year.

The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2 is scheduled for a UK release on March 3rd and to celebrate we've got hold of a new trailer showing the game's Fire & Lightning tricks.

It would have been cool to continue the campaign, but as men now.I think that there should heve been more to the campaign then there was. Also it was very short compared to the campaign in the first lord of the rings, the battle for middle earth. (and where was legolas? Is he not an elf? Shouldnt he have been there to help his people?)
