Reports from North America suggest that Infinium Labs Vaporware may be making an appearance in Germany....
Almost like clockwork, a few months since the last titbit of Phantom related news emerged, and Infinium Labs' so far Vaporware gaming system has again reared its head.
A report for the online arm of North American publication Game Informer is today suggesting that the device's 'Lapboard' (a mix of keyboard, mouse, and hard surface) will be making an appearance at the Game Convention in Leipzig at the end of August.
According to report, Infinium Labs is hoping to finally launch the system in November 2006 (two years behind schedule) - so it's a good thing that there's no other videogame hardware arriving on the scene in that month...
Whether we'll ever see the Phantom Game Service reach production is still one of the great unanswered questions in videogames, but according to today's news, the truth is out there...in Germany.
