Codemasters confirms the release of Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar Gold Edition...
Having recently been updated with 'Book 11: Defenders of Eriador', Codemasters has today confirmed the release of Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar Gold Edition.
Packaged with the three updates released since it launched earlier in 2007, the Gold Edition also sees a selection of exclusive in-game items including a 'Welcome' mat for the player's Hobbit hole and a 45-day trial code.
"The launch of the Gold Edition reinforces the monumental success The Lord of the Rings Online has received since release in April", comments Ed Blincoe, Senior Product Manager, Codemasters Online. "We are delighted with the exceptional demand LOTRO has seen and we look forward to welcoming thousands more people into Middle-earth".
Currently set in the region of Eriador, future expansions will see the additions of Moria and eventually, Mordor.
