Nintendo shares a few extra details on some of the gameplay in Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks...

We're not the biggest fans of pipe music; pan pipes are for hippies and the less said about bagpipes the better.  But Link has always been a fan of the wind instruments so we're willing to look beyond our own prejudices in this case.

Nintendo today announced that you'll need to master such instruments in the forthcoming The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.  Thankfully it doesn't seem as though you'll have to whistle songs into the DS' microphone, instead using the stylus and touchscreen to control the pitch and play the correct melodies to restore the tracks to each of the temples featured in the game.

Now if it was an ocarina we'd be much happier!
