TVG takes a look at some of the Hulk's Weaponisation skills with the help of VU Games...

Ok, so weaponization is Radicalâ??s term for the fact that the Hulk, being an enormous green bag of muscle, can take normal everyday items like cars, trucks, busses and rip them, crush them, throw them, batter things with themâ?¦ anything can become a weapon. There are some pretty crazy examples out there. These moves are bought throughout the game using â??Smash Pointsâ? that you collect every time you destroy an enemy. Thus, the more you smash, the more enemies come to get youâ?¦ the more of them you smashâ?¦ well, your smash points total keeps rising and you have more to spend on getting kick as ways to smash more stuff. Ball and Chain This video shows what the Hulk can do with a wrecking ball that he has ripped off a demolition truck. First of all he uses it like a Yo-yo, smashing it into his enemy and reeling it back in, doing damage both ways. Then finally he spins it round his head like a hammer and launches it at high speed. This is an especially good move against helicopters and fighter planes. Usually itâ??ll take down a building or two in the process!

The Bowling attack This shows that Hulk can really use anything for attacking. The ball has been ripped from a sign advertising a city hamburger chain. Hulk can simply line his enemies up and let rip. Easy, except if he bowls a gutter ball here it will take down a row of trees at the side of the road. This is an example of comic book style humour on the game. There are plenty of moments where youâ??ll be able to improvise and use something in a funny yet destructive way, ways that will make you shake your head in disbeliefâ?¦ in a good way :)

The Bus The bus is a great example of how Radical didnâ??t stop at one use for some of the more common items. With a bus, you can use it as a shield, hold it in two hands and bat people with it, flatten it in the middle and use it as a giant skateboard and even hurl it like a boomerang, taking out a few enemies before having it return to your hand slightly charred!

Missile Pack Here the Hulk uses the enemyâ??s strength against them. He can rip the missile launcher off a military vehicle, break it apart and start lobbing the missiles with his own hand towards his foe. Later on he will also be able to catch hold of missiles launched at him and send them right back.

Steel Fists One of the first weaponization moves youâ??ll use. Hulk simply picks up any car, rips it in two and crushes the two halves down to form gloves that instantly add a hell of a lot more damage to your punching moves. Incidently, all the sound effects were created by a specialized team that spent time at a scrap yard recording the actual noise of cars being ripped apart and busses being crushed from above. Itâ??s all totally authentic and gives you a real feeling of power when you pull it off, same as any of these moves.

TVG would like to thank Rob Donald for this insight to Hulk's weaponization techniques - we'll ahve more on The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction shortly...
