SEGA dishes the dirt on three more modes set to feature in Bizarre's stylish take on the shooter genre...
Although it's little consolation for The Club's delay into 2008, SEGA today lifted the lid on three of the game modes set to feature in Bizarre Creations' stylish Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and PC shooter.
Run the Gauntlet A single player mode: "Run the Gauntlet" is exactly how it sounds; a point-to-point run-and-gun race against the clock. Players will sprint through the level chaining together as many combos as possible by blowing away bad guys in stylish and deadly ways. The focus is on sprinting the character towards the exit and trying to finish the level within the time limit, achieving the set score.
Team Skull Shot A multiplayer mode: This is a team-based game where both teams have coloured skull shot targets scattered throughout a level. The red team must shoot the blue skulls and vice versa. The team who shoots all the opposing team's skull shots first is the team who wins.
Score Match A multiplayer mode: Players are set a score target and must burst into the level and try to achieve it as quickly as possible by taking down the other players and keeping their combos going. It's all against all and not a place to make friends, but then The Club is all about survival of the fittest, fastest and meanest.

It's a great game and it really annoys me that people didnt get it, and it hasnt sold as well as it should have. How should SEGA and Bizarre have pitched this; do you think it's the end for The Club?

This game is awesome, what you talking about. It's a skill-test to the max, it's a game for good gamers. Voice acting isn't even a thing for The Club, that's not this type of game. The Club is like an arcade title from years gone by - think Crazy Taxi (can't remember the story or voice acting being too good in that, but it was a blast to play). As for the constrols, well there I just disagree with you completely. They're smooth, responsive, and the run works brilliantly. I get the feeling tikicobra you just need a little more practise to discover the true beauty of The Club!

There;s no way! How is this gma egetting good reviews? It sucks! The AI is awful, the weapons aren't fun to use, the controls are bad, the voice acting is even worse. The only good thing is that it's got good graphics and runs when you put it in your console!

Probably a smart move, I mean who wants to go against Halo 3?
