Atari confirms that its MOOR has passed the chequered flag and racing to retail...

Atari's resurgence looks set to commence with confirmation that development on the hugely anticipated Test Drive Unlimited has concluded. Merging racing action with massively multiplayer options - a term deemed M.O.O.R by Atari - Test Drive Unlimited provides more than 90 different cars and bikes for the player to acquire, with monthly download packs appearing shortly after launch.

"Test Drive Unlimited represents a landmark in video games," said Nique Fajors, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Atari, Inc. "Test Drive Unlimited embodies exactly what next generation gaming is all about. With an open, persistent environment, thousands of miles to explore, hundreds of gameplay hours, and over 350 multiplayer and solo challenges, Test Drive Unlimited takes racing to an entirely different level, representing a new benchmark for others to aspire to."

Test Drive Unlimited is scheduled for release on September 8th; look out for the full review soon.

	By: Anonymous Added:Wed 21st Jan 2009 03:20, Post No: 152 oh and just a short message to anyone with problems connecting to the tdu servers, theres nothing wrong with them what you need to do is get a better/faster broadband connection with an upload speed arround 1mb or higher and youll have less problems playing the game online. i use virginmedia on there 20mb service and have 0.1% bad connection and 99.9% good connection to the tdu servers so try upgrading from sky broadbands free broadband service as its way to slow in fact try switching from bt to cable its way faster.
