Test Drive Unlimited European Clarification News

Atari sends word that Test Drive Unlimited will not follow the budget route across Europe...

Following last week's surprising news that one of our most anticipated next-generation titles, Test Drive Unlimited, would be released for the bargain price of $39.95 across North America, Atari today contacted us to address the situation in Europe.

Representing a true evolution for the brand and the genre as a whole thanks to the Massively Open Online Racing (MOOR) concept, Atari will be releasing Test Drive Unlimited for the normal price across Europe.

Although it's likely to ignite some complaints, it's worth remembering that Test Drive Unlimited should represent a full-blown next-generation title in every sense of the word, and far more deserving of your hard-earned cash then certain other Xbox 1.5 titles we could mention.

Test Drive Unlimited is scheduled for release on September 8th; keep an eye for a preview very soon.

	By: Anonymous Added:Wed 21st Jan 2009 03:20, Post No: 152 oh and just a short message to anyone with problems connecting to the tdu servers, theres nothing wrong with them what you need to do is get a better/faster broadband connection with an upload speed arround 1mb or higher and youll have less problems playing the game online. i use virginmedia on there 20mb service and have 0.1% bad connection and 99.9% good connection to the tdu servers so try upgrading from sky broadbands free broadband service as its way to slow in fact try switching from bt to cable its way faster.
