Speaking to Japanese publication IT Media, Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada has said that whilst currently not implemented, Tekken 6 may feature motion sensor functionality. Developers were only told about the motion sensor functionality of the PlayStation3's Dualshock3 controller at the Sony Conference held during E3 2006, and as such, many have returned to the drawing board in order work on its potential integration with their work-in-progress titles.

Although the report doesn't confirm that Tekken 6 will feature such functionality, Harada-san did give an example of how it might be used, for instance players would have to shake their way free when caught in a stranglehold.

Harada-san also confirmed that the fighters shown in the E3 Tekken 6 trailer were still at an experimental stage, which would allow for further changes to take place during later stages of development.
