Namco Arcade Titles To Use Cell News

Namco Bandai and Sony announce a new deal; Tekken 6 arcade to be the first to take advantage of partnership...

Global news outlet Reuters is reporting that Namco Bandai and Sony have signed a deal that will see future Namco arcade titles using Sony's Cell technology, the same processor used in PlayStation3.

Industry website Gamasutra is further quoting from Japanese newspaper Mainichi Daily News that Tekken 6 will be the first arcade title to take advantage of the new deal.

Apart from Sony's expansion of Cell into the arcades, today's announcement does raise one question: does it spell the end of any chance that Xbox 360 will get Tekken 6?
