NCsoft announces release dates for the preview pack of Richard Garriott's latest work...
NCsoft has today confirmed that Pre-Order Packs for Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa will be available via online retailers from tomorrow (Friday, 10th August), with boxed versions set to arrive in Europe from August 31st.
Following the same strategy as its previous releases such as Guild Wars, the pre-order pack will include a number of exclusive in-game items, along with access to the Beta test, and a three day head start on the live game, due for release in the Autumn.
"There is an amazing amount of anticipation for Tabula Rasa's launch within our development team and the player community," said Richard Garriott, executive producer. "The player feedback at this point has been extremely helpful and we're putting the final touches on the game. This pre-order release truly marks the final stages in developing this epic adventure, and since owning the pre-order allows players beta access, it is a great way to try Tabula Rasa out before we launch the game."

The ISS isn't a permanent space station. Like Mir, it's going to come down after some number of years (so far, it looks like NASA has only promised it'll definitely be up til 2016). You're better off "preserving your DNA" by burying a jar of spit in your back yard.
