Richard Garriott's latest offering arriving on October 19th; pre-order pack owners get a head-start from October 16th...
NCsoft has today confirmed a release date of October 19th for sci-fi MMO, Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa. Launching simultaneously across North America and Europe in a little over a month, Tabula Rasa will be available to owners of the Pre-Order Pack three days earlier, on October 16th.
"It has been a heck of a journey," said Richard Garriott, the game's Executive Producer. "The fact that we are getting ready for the final stretch towards launch feels great, but it is also just the beginning. I think we've managed to do something truly unique and I hope that the gaming community likes it as much as we do. Now, I am looking forward to a really fun 'end of beta event' for our incredible testers, and focusing development on new planets and innovations for future expansions of Tabula Rasa."
TVG recently spoke with Richard Garriott in an extensive two-part interview, which you can read here and here.

The ISS isn't a permanent space station. Like Mir, it's going to come down after some number of years (so far, it looks like NASA has only promised it'll definitely be up til 2016). You're better off "preserving your DNA" by burying a jar of spit in your back yard.

The Pre-Order access to the Beta starts at a different time than the hand-picked Closed Beta Applicants.. Just so everyone knows.

I recently purchased from Offgamers. It has been a great experience. The prices were rock bottom and their customer support is outstanding. It took a total of 2 days to get my complete order. I was very pleased. I will order from them again and if you are looking for a dependable seller please check these guys out you won't be disappointed.

Looks promising but so does Hellgate London. Seems these two games will probably go head to head before wooing long term players of other MMOs
