Help to ensure Tabula Rasa finally makes its release by inventing the back-story to a key character...
To gear up for the forthcoming release of Richard Garriot's Tabula Rasa, NCsoft today announced a competition to provide the back-story behind one of the game's central characters.
With very little information about the character beyond a solitary image, NCsoft is challenging fans to come up with a name, his home planet and details of his back-story leading up to the events depicted in the forthcoming MMO.
All submissions require a maximum of 1000 words and will be judged based upon originality, creativity, quality and presentation (poor grammar will count against you). Drawn from the line-up of six finalists, the first and second place winners will be flown to Austin, Texas, United States, for the Tabula Rasa Pre-Launch Party happening at Britannia Manor sometime in the week starting on Monday 3rd September and ending on Sunday 9th September!

The ISS isn't a permanent space station. Like Mir, it's going to come down after some number of years (so far, it looks like NASA has only promised it'll definitely be up til 2016). You're better off "preserving your DNA" by burying a jar of spit in your back yard.
