TOCA 2 and Colin McRae set to appear alongside Sony's handheld on September 1st...

UK publisher Codemasters has confirmed that two of its established console franchises will be making their PSP debut when the Sony handheld launches on September 1st 2005.

Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus brings the iconic rally series to the PSP with Wi-Fi play for up to eight players to compete simultaneously. The stages take place across nine countries (UK, Greece, Japan, Australia, USA, Spain, Finland, Sweden and Germany) with over thirty cars available to race in total, with classes including 2WD, 4WD, RWD, and 4WD Classics. Playing with Wi-Fi enables gamers to send over replays to other PSPs, and it also comes with Game Sharing so you can play a demo version with a friend who doesnâ??t own the title.

TOCA Racing Driver 2 enables up to twelve gamers to take part in the titles various championships via Wi-Fi, and like Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus, it too allows replays to be shared with friends and includes a Game Sharing demo. TOCA 2 features 35 cars including the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, Koenig Competition 2002, Nissan Skyline and the Ford 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R, with 32 different championships across 52 circuits around the globe.
