EA finally gives a release date for the North American release of the delayed Superman movie tie-in...
Electronic Arts has today confirmed that Superman Returns will be released across North America on November 20th. The game, which draws from both the storyline of the 2006 movie and the back-catalogue of Superman, had been delayed for several months for unknown reasons.
An open-world game set within 80-square miles of Metropolis, Superman Returns sees players fight against a range of enemies as the Man of Steel tries to save the local populace, and will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation2, Xbox, and Nintendo DS. A GameBoy Advance version of the game, entitled Superman: Fortress of Solitude will also be released on the same day.
A European release date for Superman Returns is yet to be confirmed; we'll have more news shortly...
