Super Smash Bros Brawl's absence in the schedule suggests late 2008 release for the Wii title...
Top of the pile of surprises in Nintendo of Europe's most recent release schedule is the absence of Super Smash Bros Brawl, reports Gamasutra. While its European release date is yet to be confirmed, the all-star cast of Brawl has been slated for January 24th and February 10th releases in Japan and North America respectively (delayed from previous dates in 2007).
The fact that there is no sign of Super Smash Bros Brawl on Nintendo of Europe's schedule between now and next June is not only disappointing for European Wii owners, but also casts doubt on the current early 2008 release dates for Japan and North America.
Less of an unpleasant revelation is Mario Kart Wii's Q2 allocation for release in Europe. This is much more along the lines of what we were hoping for from Nintendo during the first half of 2008.

I am also wondering about that flavour of the day thing, can you have custom stages sent to your Wii in Europe? Because I can't find that button you're talking about...
