Is Anybody Still Playing Super Smash Bros Brawl? News

Nintendo confirms that all user generated content features will be switched off at the end of June...

An update to the official Super Smash Bros Brawl website has revealed Nintendo's plans to switch off support for user-generated content.

A statement on the site claims:

"As of June 30th, 2009, the current service that accepts user-generated snapshots, stage designs, and replay data will no longer be available. Please note, however, that we will continue to distribute such data after that date."

Presumably the decision is based upon the fact that demand for these features is not sufficient to justify the costs of bandwidth, suggesting the attempt at user-generated content hasn't exactly been a roaring success for Super Smash Bros fans.
