Ubisoft re-confirms next set of PSP titles and one or two more to the raft

Following their successful launch of Q Entertainmentâ??s Lumines on the PSPâ??s launch day at the beginning of the month, Ubisoft has today announced their next wave of titles set for the handheld system before the end of the year.
Reconfirming the release of FRANTIX, GripShift, and the Namco developed RPG Tales of Eternia, Ubi also announced a first quarter 2006 launch for Prince of Persia PSP and 187 Ride of Die PSP.
â??The PSP is a fantastic new system for gamers on the move,â? said Alain Corre, executive director of EMEA territories at Ubisoft. â??Ubisoft is thrilled that it can contribute to the continued success of the PSP by ensuring a wide variety of games and exclusive content. This is only the beginning of our support, with many more titles in the works for the year to come.â?
Hopefully the POP and 187 titles for the system will be more than just ports of the home console versions, which would certainly offer gamers something a little more original to play, though looking at the broader PSP games currently out for Sonyâ??s handheld, we have our concerns.
Weâ??ll have more on Ubisoftâ??s future releases shortlyâ?¦
