Blizzard producer sets target on moms and wives for eagerly awaited RTS sequel...
Could this finally be the proof that the entire videogame industry's obsession on appealing to a casual audience has gone a little too far? Quite possibly.
Previously the sole domain of hardened RTS gamers and pro gamers alike, Blizzard's producer Chris Sigaty claims in an interview with MTV's Multiplayer that Starcraft II is being designed to try and appeal to both his 'mom' and wife.
"[Real-time strategy games] at this level - there's a lot more there to think about and it gets really frantic really fast, and so it's definitely off-putting to somebody that's totally new to video games," he said. "But we want to make it much easier for people to explore whether it would interest them."
He added, "And yes, I want to try to get my mom and my wife to take a look and see if they like it. My wife has come to a lot of these events, and she loves watching [people play] but she says, 'I could never do it.' Well, I want to try and change her mind. I think that would be awesome if we could."
What next, perhaps a Wii version with integrated Mii support?

good luck to anyone planning on cheating any where on this game, if caught youll get not only banned from online play but banned from playing the game full stop, Blizzard takes cheating very seriously (i just wish microsoft would implement a punk buster into xbox live to stop the cheating scum on XBL (and do somthing to the firmware to stop people from obtaining people's IP addresses (and yes it can be done, just look on youtube for 360 hacks).

SC2 Mastery Guide Hits the Market
There are a lot of guides on the market that all promise to offer an array of different tactics and strategies for mastering content in Starcraft 2. Those other guides have been built on a number of different ideas – there are guides promising you strategies to defeat all three races, strategies to get you to Platinum status, and strategies to have fun with.
But, the vast majority of strategies have problems, for a variety of reasons. To start with, the game has been in beta for a long time and a lot has changed. Second, too many strategies are based heavily on the older Starcraft model – making assumptions that don’t always play out when you start playing the new game.
