More on this gameBioware's unannounced MMO gains background support courtesy of Star Trek Online developers...
Perpetual Entertainment and Bioware Corp today announced an agreement that will provide Perpetual's online technology for use in Bioware Austin's forthcoming MMO title.
Providing technology to operate any online title, the Perpetual platform gives developers the tools to bring next-generation online titles to fruition faster with lower technological and logistical restrictions. Perpetual themselves are currently working on two MMOs, Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising and Star Trek Online, incorporating the backbone technology that provides player management, billing, customer relationship management, game feature extension, load-balancing, lobby servicing, patching and community management.
"We evaluated numerous technology solutions to serve as the service backbone of our first MMO title and feel Perpetual's online platform is the best fit," said Gordon Walton, Co-Studio Director of BioWare Austin. "The Perpetual team has years of experience building infrastructure and tools for online games and we are thrilled to be working with them."
"BioWare is one of the leading developers of AAA games in the world and we know they will find the Perpetual platform provides both the functionality and ease-of-use they are looking for to support their upcoming title," said Joseph Keene, Co-Chairman and CEO, Perpetual Entertainment, Inc. "With the Perpetual platform, BioWare's Austin studio can focus on making great games while minimizing the time and effort required to deploy and support their titles."
Unfortunately Bioware are still refusing to elaborate on specific details regarding the MMO, but hopefully this announcement signifies that development is nearing completion before the game's official unveiling.

This pc game is not Kotor 3 thats coming out lucasarts even said its not. Its more like a sequel to the 3 game whenever it comes out the story takes place 300 years after Kotor 2 Revan the Exile and whoever went with the Exile never returned from the outer rims most likely they lived out there entire lives preventing the true sith from coming to there galaxy. Now this ture sith that there were stoping have finale come thats the story for this mmo i'm not happy because i hate mmo's but it seems to be a great story. P.S Hk-47 is in the game so i quess we will find out what happens in Kotor 3 from him whenever the game comes out

Tired of all these games that are only MMO... Quit making just MMO games everyone hates them that really care about games. Make it a single player RPG like it already is and make it also possible for MMO so people don't have to have the internet to play and not only that which will prolly be the case have to pay a monthly fee to play as well. Like all the other MMO games out there that use to only be single player RPG with multiplayer options!! Quit making MMO games.

This MMO stuff is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. It just doesn't work especially for names. Sure there alright at first but then it turns into stuff like jedi12345
