So is this 'Interactive Entertainment Product' the long-rumoured Knights of the Old Republic MMO or KOTOR 3...

In a joint statement, newly acquired EA subsidiary Bioware Corporation and LucasArts have confirmed the development of a new 'Interactive Entertainment Product'. The 'product' is yet to be unveiled, and speculation remains over whether it refers to the rumoured Knights of the Old Republic MMO, or even KOTOR 3...

"LucasArts has a deep commitment to developing compelling stories and characters for the unique medium of interactive entertainment, and we have been searching for a developer that shares this value. We found this in BioWare," said Jim Ward, president of LucasArts. "Through our previous collaborations, we know that BioWare has an impressive ability to blend gripping stories with technological advancements, and we believe that our upcoming product will deliver an experience that will span the traditional boundaries of video game entertainment."

"BioWare's mission is to deliver the best story and character-driven games in the world, delivering powerful emotional experiences to our fans." said Ray Muzyka, chief executive officer, BioWare Corp. Added Greg Zeschuk, president of BioWare Corp., "The collaboration with LucasArts allows us to combine our passion for creating high quality and innovative experiences with those of a company dedicated to bringing only the finest games to market.

Further details are expected at a massively ambiguous 'later date', though in a statement both companies reasserted that the product will 'push the boundaries of the gaming market by utilizing the strengths of both companies to deliver an innovative, high-quality experience.'

Its more like a sequel to the 3 game whenever it comes out the story takes place 300 years after Kotor 2 Revan the Exile and whoever went with the Exile never returned from the outer rims most likely they lived out there entire lives preventing the true sith from coming to there galaxy.Now this ture sith that there were stoping have finale come thats the story for this mmo i'm not happy because i hate mmo's but it seems to be a great story. P.S Hk-47 is in the game so i quess we will find out what happens in Kotor 3 from him whenever the game comes out

Make it a single player RPG like it already is and make it also possible for MMO so people don't have to have the internet to play and not only that which will prolly be the case have to pay a monthly fee to play as well. Like all the other MMO games out there that use to only be single player RPG with multiplayer options!! Quit making MMO games.
