Rumours abound that BioWare's much talked about untitled MMO will be set in the KOTOR universe...
BioWare's upcoming untitled MMO, due sometime in 2009, is gradually picking up enough momentum on the rumour mill to ground a considerable amount of grain. According to Primotech, citing an unnamed source "close to BioWare", the MMO will be set in the Star Wars universe, specifically the Knights of the Old Republic world that BioWare are famed for.
This follows a heap of reports about the engines that BioWare will be using in their Austin studio to develop the game. The rights have been bought up to use the StreamBase engine (which has previously been used by financial organisations for processing), Perpetual online technology (currently used by Perpetual for their MMOs including Star Trek Online) and the HeroEngine (currently in use by its makers Simultronics for their MMO Hero's Journey).
With all of these engines, it seems like BioWare are developing less of an MMO and more of a Death Star. Regardless of these slightly unsubstantiated rumours about a Star Wars MMO though, it's not a huge step to suggest that BioWare will go back to their KOTOR stomping grounds, particular because the KOTOR games have been so successful with a very loyal fanbase.

I don't know that George cares that much about the droids. Perhaps just, "Give us KOTOR 3 or Jar Jar gets it," and then kill Jar Jar regardless.

Get an online petition made, e-mail LucasArts' community guys, get on the LucasArts boards etc. There are many ways but I'm pretty sure that LucasArts is already well aware that there's a huge demand for KOTOR 3. Right now they'll be focusing on the TOR MMO though.
