LucasArts President confirms a new Star Wars title in development in an interview with the New York Times...
In an interview with the US publication, New York Times, LucasArts President Jim Ward has confirmed the development of a new Star Wars game that delves deeper into the past of the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader.
Although further details are yet to be released, including the proposed platforms and even the name of the game, Ward describes how he met with LucasArts Vice-President of Product Development Peter Hirschmann, and the game's Project Leader Haden Blackman to discuss the new title, with Blackman on hand to demonstrate the latest build.
In addition to the Star Wars title, Ward also described how LucasArts had managed to get photos of San Francisco in 1915 for the production of the already announced Indian Jones title.
We'll have more on this mysterious Star Wars title shortly...

Talk about dropping the ball for the Wii...I'm a HUGE SW fan, and have been for a long time now. Ever since SOE messed up Star Wars Galaxies, I've not played any of the games, save for the LEGO ones (which barely count). I was truely hoping for the Wii version to capture the Lightsaber movement, and I'm VERY suprised that they are planning on completely half-assing on this aspect. Boo. Enough said.
