US reports confirm what TVG has been telling you for ages...

US reports over the weekend have been quick to suggest that ‘Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2’ is in development and will be released in late 2004/early 2005.

However TVG regulars will know that we first heard of the project back in September, when we first mentioned the likelihood of BioWare working with the Star Wars franchise again.

It’s claimed that the game will take place many years after the events of ‘KotoR’ and feature an entirely new cast of characters; however we’d take all of this with a generous pinch of salt at present, our contact who alerted us to the chances of seeing a sequel back in September, refused to comment on the situation but claimed that it’s a little too early to begin talking about characters and plotlines at present.

TVG regulars will also remember that we mentioned the possiblties of multiplayer co-op and the possibility of Xbox Live! support.

We’ll do our best to uncover some more information, but remember to stick to TVG for all the latest developments on ‘Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2’.

I'm sure the KOTOR fanatics on here will be able to help you - head over to The Old Republic board and ask JMD, he seems to know his stuff.
