LucasArts confirm that the forthcoming Star Wars: Battlefront has gone gold ready for an autumn release…

Final preparations for the release of Star Wars: Battlefront are now underway, and with confirmation that the title has gone gold, the anticipation felt by the legions of Star Wars fans is sure to grow.

The game will allow players to experience the key battles from all of the episodes from the Star Wars saga, including battles from the forthcoming Star Wars Episode III: Return of the Sith. The game will feature a number of planets from the films, including Naboo, Hoth, Endor, and an as yet unnamed planet from Episode III.

Featuring a number of Single-Player modes including “Instant Action," "Galactic Conquest" and the story-based "Historical Campaigns", together with Online support for all three formats, Star Wars Battlefront is sure to get the force flowing when it gets released on September 21st in the US, and September 24th in Europe.
