EA confirms that Will Wright's Spore has achieved 'gold' status...
Electronic Arts has today confirmed that Will Wright's Spore has reached gold status, in time for the game's launch on September 5th across Europe.
The PC title will also be joined by Spore Creatures, which is set to arrive on the Nintendo DS from September 7th, alongside a special 'Galactic' edition of the game filled with extras including DVDs and a handbook.
"We are so excited to finally get Spore into the hands of fans and players," said Lucy Bradshaw, executive producer of Spore at Maxis. "The Maxis studio has had an absolute blast creating Spore, but the fun is just beginning. The most engaging stories are truly the ones people create themselves, and we can't wait to see how players not only craft and explore the Spore universe, but hear what stories they have to tell as a result."
The Spore Creature Creator, which arrived on June 18th, has already proved a phenomenal success, spawning millions of user-created species (including a few rude ones) in a matter of weeks.

Anyways,i bought spore and installed in my PC.

ok...news flash, this is a 3 game...its not meant to be the best game ever...its just meant to be abit of fun, if some can tell me a game were u make ur own creture and advancde it in diffrent stages to make it the the top creature on the planet, tell me, and ill get it=) spore is uniqueand a game tht is meant for an hour or 2 of gameplay, yeh it was a bit of a let down, but tht is what expansion packs are for.

I did mind this tbh. It was good until a certain point ten its just boring I wouldnt recommend this personally.
