EA clarifies reports that Will Wright's evolutionary title has been pushed back...
One of the most anticipated games currently in development for PC, Spore has recently been surrounded in a hotbed of online rumours, which suggested Will Wright's newest baby was to gestate a little longer.
In a statement to Next-Gen.biz, publisher Electronic Arts has clarified that whilst Spore is scheduled for release in the early part of fiscal 2009 (running from April 2008), the recent reports have been nothing more than just regurgitating news release during the company's financial results back in May.
An EA representative commented to the US-based industry publication that, "There seems to be some misinformation flying around...Nothing's changed since our call on May 8, where [CEO] John Riccitello specifically said that we were moving Spore from fiscal '08 to early fiscal '09."

ok...news flash, this is a 3 game...its not meant to be the best game ever...its just meant to be abit of fun, if some can tell me a game were u make ur own creture and advancde it in diffrent stages to make it the the top creature on the planet, tell me, and ill get it=) spore is uniqueand a game tht is meant for an hour or 2 of gameplay, yeh it was a bit of a let down, but tht is what expansion packs are for.

I did mind this tbh. It was good until a certain point ten its just boring I wouldnt recommend this personally.
