Splinter Cell Goodies Revealed News

By Chris Leyton on 11/03/2003

Want to know exactly what's in store when you link the GameCube and GBA versions + first ever Gamecube screens...

Ubisoft today announced exactly what goodies Nintendo fans can expect when they link the forthcoming GameCube and GameBoy Advance versions of Splinter Cell. By hooking up both copies of the game, players can use the GameBoy Advance as a remote extension of the OPSAT system, allowing players to view a map consistently and giving him remote control of computers and weapons, including the wall mine.

Furthermore, linking the games up will unlock a new weapon exclusive to the GameCube version – the sticky bomb, which promises to be a lot of fun; whilst gamers who complete the Cube version will be able to unlock five new levels on the GameBoy Advance title. Phew have you got all of that, this interconnecting features are beginning to get a little confusing!!!

So great news for Nintendo fans, along with the confirmation of a release date; both versions will ship on May 6th in the US, followed by a European release on June 5th.
