US reports suggest that Splinter Cell: Double Agent is on the way to Wii...
It seems Ubisoft's love for the Nintendo Wii knows no bounds, with IGN reporting the development of Sam Fisher's latest adventure in Splinter Cell: Double Agent for the format.
Suggesting that the title will be ready for the format's launch, the original IGN article speculates that the Wii version is based around the Playstation2 and GameCube versions, with various unspecified enhancements to graphics and gameplay. Exactly how Ubisoft Montreal are able to exploit the capabilities of the Wii remote remains unknown at this stage, though there is a suggestion of shaking it to pick locks - not exactly the most inspired use we've seen yet, but we'll have to wait and see!

To all those who complain about the Shanghai studio, you need to remember they were the ones who brought us Pandora Tommorow, the BEST game in the SPlinter cell series by far! All you Chaos Theory noobs who whine about no deathmatch go play Gaylo. Remeber Shanghai has been the creative ones, Chaos Theory was just an expansion of a great game with a couple added features. Yes I am upset about the direction they took the multiplayer, but I haven't completly lost my faith in Ubisoft (yet). They somewhat redeemed themselves with Rainbow 6 vegas.
