Jade Raymond heading up ex-Splinter Cell Conviction team...
The Managing Director of Ubisoft's Toronto studio, Jade Raymond has confirmed that her team is currently working on "Splinter Cell 6".
Raymond had previously revealed that key developers from Ubisoft Montreal’s Splinter Cell: Conviction project had joined her at the newly founded Toronto studio to work on a new entry in the stealth action franchise, which she referred to as "Splinter Cell 6" in a recent promotional video.
"We're working on Splinter Cell 6, the next iteration of the blockbuster franchise,” Raymond said in the video (below).
“Right now we have 83 people hired. We have people working on gameplay, we have concept artists, animators, we have audio directors.”
Raymond also revealed that the studio has already begun work on two projects, and unveiled plans to rapidly expand in the coming years.
"Within the next 10 years we plan to ramp up this studio to at least 800 people, and we're ahead of schedule on that," she said.
Nitai Bessette, Level Design Director on the new Splinter Cell, also provided some insight into working life on the team.
“On occassion a giant nerf fight will break out... and then five minutes later everyone’s back at their desks working.”

it would be cool on the the 6th splinter cell to explore sams past a little bit and explain how he grew up, because he is a very underdeveloped character. it should have been explained in the other games but now is the time to do it. hope u make a great success of it :)

make a choice of killing or knocking down the enemy like the oldies and when in cover make the player grab and drag the enemy while still in cover!
