SEGA begins a game to eliminate which characters will make an appearance in Project Needlemouse...
Beyond announcing the existence of Project Needlemouse SEGA has been playing a mindful game of dangling the carrot in front of an eager audience, knowing all too well that long-suffering Sonic fans will wait earnestly on the promise of a return to old-school 2D goodness.
Well it seems that now is the time for the first information to surface with a campaign to drip feed further details. The first part has revealed a list of potential playable characters that will be making an appearance, names which will be removed daily during the course of the week as the community answers old-school Sonic related questions. If SEGA is planning to remove five characters from the list of eleven, that suggests we could see six characters in the game.
So who do you want to see from the likes of Amy, Big the Cat, Tikal, Froggy, Shade, Vector, Shadow, Chip, Charmy, Sonic and or course Mr. Needlemouse? We know which ones we certainly don't want to see again.

What would be the point in keeping that as a mystery? Surely they'd stand to gain exposure by revealing that now, considering it's still slightly topical?
Me thinks Sonic will help to launch somehting a little more interesting than an Apple port - or at least I hope so.
